Dr. Daniel Burkhoff, MD, PhD Medical advisor Prof. Burkhoff is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical School. In addition he is consultant to several medical device companies in cardiovascular medicine, mainly in the field of heart failure therapeutics. He previously served as Director of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation's J. Skirball Center for Cardiovascular Research (SCCR, Orangeburg, NY). Dr. Burkhoff's training includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in Applied and Engineering Physics and Doctor of Philosophy and Medical degrees from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He completed his house staff training in Internal Medicine at the Bayview Campus of The Johns Hopkins Hospital and fellowship training in Cardiology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Burkhoff then moved to Columbia University in New York City, where he served as Associate Professor of Medicine in the Divisions of Cardiology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, and as Associate Attending Physician at the New-York Presbyterian Hospital until 2003. Dr. Burkhoff has authored or co-authored over 200 peer-reviewed journal articles as well as numerous book chapters and editorials. Prof. Vivek Reddy, MD Medical advisor Prof. Reddy is the director of cardiac arrhythmia service in Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Professor of medicine in Cardiac Electrophysiology in The Leona M. and Harry B. helmsley Charitable Trust. Prof Reddy earned his MD degree in University of Michigan Medical School, and has been a resident in Yale-Nea Haven Hospital, and had fellowship in Cardiovascular disease at University of Chicago, and in Electrophysiology in Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Reddy has won multiple awards for his achievements, and has published numerous peer reviewed articles. Prof. Gedalia Paz (Frenkel), PhD Scientific advisor Prof. Paz is a Deputy Director (Laboratory Division) of the Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Center - the second largest hospital in Israel. Prof. Paz is a professor of Endocrinology, section of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Sackler School of Medicine, Tel-Aviv university. He is a leading expert in Endocrinology, Reproduction and Metabolism; and has published over 190 scientific publications. Among his notable positions: Head of the department of reproductive biology at Hakirya Maternity Hospital, Senior lecturer at the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University, and a member of: International Society of Andrology, Family Planing Association, and advisory committee of Al-Sam. Aharon, PhD Scientific advisor Itzhak - "Gingi", is a leading physics scientist, specializing in the domain of biomedicine, neuroscience, and medical imaging. Gingi was part of the original team to invent MRI in Harvard University.
